Law on a mission

Data is at the heart of how our clients seek to accomplish their goals.

From sustainable funding, to health research and outreach, smart decisions are always data driven decisions.

Our mission is to help clients navigate the legal landscape so that they can ethically unleash the power of data to improve society.

Why is Golden Data Law a Benefit Corporation?

Benefit Corporations (B Corps) are for-profit companies that use the power of markets to serve humankind while meeting rigorous performance, accountability and transparency standards.

Golden Data Law is a benefit corporation because we believe that all law firms can and should do more than just turn a profit.

Our goal, based on the ideas of conscious capitalism, is to promote an ongoing, integrated approach to social responsibility, self-awareness, and purposeful decision-making when it comes to data while also helping law students seeking a path to a legal career along the way.

Our values are aligned with the values of the community we aim to serve, which will be composed of not-for-profits and governmental agencies.

Bee the Change

Why do we use the honeybee as our symbol?

Bees are a perfect symbol for a law firm that has chosen to “bee” the change.

Like our attorneys, honeybees are incredibly industrious, brilliant at building new things, very social and - most importantly - able to create value for themselves while, at the same time, being immensely useful to others.

As luck would have it, Golden Data Law was incorporated on World Bee Day (May 20th), which we take to be a very auspicious omen.
