This year, Colorado became the third state to enact a comprehensive privacy law (the Colorado Data Privacy Act or “DPA.”). The law will go into effect on July 1, 2023 and is set to impose obligations on nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations that maintain personal data on Colorado residents, even if they do not operate in Colorado.

Why we use the honeybee as our symbol?
Bees are a perfect symbol for a law firm that has chosen to “bee” the change.
Like our attorneys, honeybees are incredibly industrious, brilliant at building new things, very social and - most importantly - able to create value for themselves while, at the same time, being immensely useful to others.
As luck would have it, Golden Data Law was incorporated on World Bee Day (May 20th) which we take to be a very auspicious omen.
